Filson Highlander Boot
Between an outer layer of rugged oil-tanned leather and an inner layer of soft water repellent leather,
we've added our 24 ounce Mackinaw 100% Virgin Wool. No other boot uses this unique insulating and water
repellent combination. Even our demanding field testers couldn't believe the result. We believe this is
one of the finest insulated leather boots available today.
Our VibramŽ Olympia Sole is made from a high performance compound which provides exceptional slip
resistance and long wear. The sole is designed to grip, even in the wettest and coldest conditions.
The "lugs" are flexible so they move as you move, providing support and traction just when you need it
most. Gripping teeth under the arch provide biting support when on sticks or logs. Lateral support bars
on the perimeter provide day long stability and comfort.
Filson uses pure wool to surround your foot for perspiration absorption and transfer as well as unmatched warmth.
Wool works with your body's heat to keep your feet warm, dry and comfortable. Highlander tongue,
reinforced with oil tanned leather and our Oil Finish Tin Cloth and a layer of wool provide maximum
comfort, protection and warmth. Made in USA.
