Filson Uplander Chukka Shoe
Perfect for light upland hunting, these rugged shoes are made with an outer layer of flexible oil-tanned
leather and an inner lining of soft water repellent leather so your feet will stay dry and comfortable
all day long. Filson also added a Removable Cork Insole for arch and heel
support. This unique combination of natural materials quickly conforms to your foot for excellent
comfort and protection.
Features include:
- 4 1/2-in height is casual and reduces weight, but still tall enough to effectively keep out mud and debris
- Moccasin toe style is popular with shooters and upland bird hunters
- Full-grain, oil-tanned leather upper is tough and extremely water repellent, yet supple
- Leather lining throughout entire shoe for greater comfort and water repellency
- Vibram Gumlite® rubber sole serves equally well in the city or the field
- Welt construction allows easy replacement of worn out soles
- 2 mid-soles (one rubber, one leather) provide lateral (side-to-side) support and stability
- Tempered steel shank supports your arch, to minimize fatigue
- Removable cork foot bed molds itself to the contours of your feet, and dissipates perspiration
- Heel counter and reinforced backstay stabilize your heel
- Leather tongue with Tin Cloth gussets prevents water from leaking around tongue, but without bulk
- Embossed logos "C.C. FILSON CO, SEATTLE, SINCE 1897" on tongue, "FILSON" on right ankle
- Brass fittings resist rust and corrosion
